About this site
iphoneduosupport.com is published by Ingenious Techlab, an iOS consultancy working on adaptive layout and foldable-display support. We built this site because Apple announced iPhone Duo on 9 September 2026 with six Tech Talk videos and almost nothing in writing — and video is a poor format for the kind of reference a developer needs open in a second window.
How the content is sourced
Every technical claim on this site traces to a named Apple source, linked at the point of use and listed at the foot of each page. Where a figure is derived rather than published — point dimensions, for instance, which we calculate from Apple’s pixel figures at @3x — we say so.
Where a vendor has shipped nothing, we say that too. Our React Native, Flutter, Unity and Capacitor guides are labelled as engineering analysis, because Meta, Google, Unity and Ionic have published no iPhone Duo guidance. The Apple-side facts in those posts are sourced; the framework-side conclusions are our reasoning, and you should verify them against your own build.
Keeping it current
Every page carries a last verified date. Apple listed the written “Preparing your app for iPhone Duo” guide, the Human Interface Guidelines page, and Xcode 27.1 beta as coming later in September 2026. When those ship we will re-audit this site against them and update the dates.
If you find something wrong, tell us. We would rather correct it than be the reason someone ships a bug.
What we do
We add iPhone Duo and adaptive-layout support to existing iOS apps — audits, implementation, cross-platform bridging, and pre-ship review across every pose. If that is useful to you, get in touch.
Apple’s own resources
This site is not a replacement for Apple’s material and we would rather you read it:
- Get Ready for iPhone Duo — the developer hub
- Prepare your app for iPhone Duo
- Design for iPhone Duo
- Raise the bar with iPhone Duo
- Strike a pose with adaptive layouts on iPhone Duo
- Leverage multiple displays and scenes on iPhone Duo
- Build a great camera experience for iPhone Duo
